At this point, we will not be advancing this feature, whether through extending the existing CRD or reimplementing it. We do not plan to add new features to the old `Apisix XXX` CRD set. The `proto` should be permitted in plugin configurations rather than being treated as a core resource, which is inappropriate. I will close and lock this issue.
