## Description apisix-ingress-controller 2.2.0 is out: [release](https://github.com/apache/apisix-ingress-controller/releases/tag/2.2.0), tag `2.2.0`, published 2026-08-18. - `config/docs.js`: version 2.1.0 -> 2.2.0, releaseDate -> 2026-08-18 - `config/downloads.js`: the same two fields `sourceVersion` and `downloadPath` stay at 1.8.0, since that is still the newest source release; only the binary release moved. The date follows what the entry meant before: 2.1.0 was tagged on 2026-05-27 and its release was published on 2026-06-01, and the entry read 2026-06-01.
