Patch Set 1: Yingyi, As a response to 1, I remember a discussion about options and did not realize that was the final option. I did factor all the range connector stuff out of the existing connectors so they are unchanged. For item 2, we should have a larger discussion on how all the pieces for range fit together. Wenhai's histograms, James' windows, Ahmed's spatial join and my interval join. What solution will work for all use cases?
