Jan Lehnardt commented on COUCHDB-2829:
---------------------------------------
This is in Safari/Mac. First time I log into Fauxton, I enter the user-pass,
Safari asks to store them, I say Ok. When my session runs out, Fauxton show the
login page on my next interaction, Safari fills in the user and pass, I hit Log
In, and get an error that user and/or pass can’t be empty.
Gut feeling: the validator checks for input.onBlur or onKeyDown/Up or something
and that isn’t triggered in that case. I might be off, tho

> From Jan on IRC:
> Fauxton form validation can’t handle auto-password-fill on login, it’s super
> annoying to have “password can’t be blank”, when in fact it had been entered,
> even though there was no user interaction with the form field
