For three different servers at the same, this strongly suggests something in your environment has malfunctioned. Perhaps a script was run that accidentally deleted the wrong files? 2. Cool, I was more wondering if there were files elsewhere on disk though that would indicate that a configuration change was made. 3. Is your log level set high enough to record HTTP request lines? I believe it has to be set to info or higher. For your questions: 1. No, nothing in CouchDB will automatically delete a database.
