As it said in the commit message "Flag `debug_info` auto-propagated from rebar, so there are no need to set it manually or we'll end up with a double entry in opts." You can add `-vv` to compile and grep for `erl_opts` to see what I mean. > we could just leave a comment on how to enable it instead of an override via a variable Well, @jaydoane insisted it's a valuable option, so I made it easier to turn on, easier than guess to read README and then manually modify rebar config anyway. But If you think this makes `rebar.config.script` that more complicated then sure I can remove it completely.
