   If this really is a requirement, maybe consider an erlangy reverse proxy. 
https://github.com/heroku/vegur comes to mind, and 
https://github.com/edwardt/somdune was used in iriscouch days, but probably 
doesn't have the plumbing you'd need. There are a few  elixir based ones on 
hex.pm but I haven't ever used them, all of them use cowboy in some form under 
the hood.
