Thank you all for the very quick feedback! According to https://github.com/WhatsApp/erlfmt#comparison-with-other-erlang-formatters , erlfmt is meant to be opinionated with little to no configuration available. If we believe this PR is a net-negative change, I'll close it. If we think erlfmt is not right for us, but exploring another formatter is worth it, please let me know.
