I had assumed `maybe` would support guards, well like `case` does. It will probably gain them in the future 🤷 like you pointed out. I went with the idea that fsync failing is already an `error` so raising an error didn't seem too strange, especially if we already raise the same error in a few places in the same file. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
