Wish there was a test case addressing this scenario specifically since that has been such a pain. I am wondering how difficult it would be to cover this. I naively assume it would be sufficient to reduce the `max_indexes_open` for Clouseau to a very low number (`1` maybe?), run a couple of hundreds of search requests through that, and watch for the 500s. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
