James Joseph Masanz commented on CTAKES-492:
--------------------------------------------
I can't see all of the details to the right in the screen shot with the
timestamp that includes the word SEVERE.
You might want to skip down to the "Next Steps: section of the user guide,
where it talks about running the Default Clinical Pipeline from the command line
"To run cTAKES from a command line, see[ Default Clinical
Pipeline|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CTAKES/Default+Clinical+Pipeline]."
and see if that is easier.
If you do want to continue with CVD, could you do the following:
After running and receiving the error, within CVD, use the Tools->View Log File
menu option, and upload the log file as an attachment to this issue.

> Hi experienced cTAKES users/ developers,
> I am a new user to cTAKES, and just downloaded cTAKES 4.0 based on
> installation guide. I am unable to set the environment variable correctly (I
> am also not a coder). It seems that the code stopped running at line 44 for
> me.
>
> Thanks for anyone who can provide some guidance!
