Removes legacy VirtualService and DestinationRule API types, generated artifacts, dead control-plane indexes, subset-cluster logic, mesh defaults, resolver references, and documentation. Gateway API HTTPRoute, PeerAuthentication, and BackendTLSPolicy remain the supported traffic interfaces.
