Head commit for run: 1b644c897340a6f3f0c0915b313956663d747085 / Scott Murphy Heiberg <[email protected]> Document the legacy and domain module defaults, and test the gaps the review found Upgrade guide and REST guide: - grails.converters.json.legacy is not deprecated, and renders domain classes, map keys and the text as Grails 8 did, whatever the application's Jackson settings. - The domain module is opt-in, and the guides list exactly what it applies on the mapper and what it does not. - The table adds char[], File, Path, ByteBuffer, Pattern, Charset and InetAddress; map keys say how a Class key, a @JsonValue key and an OffsetDateTime or ZonedDateTime key render; toString(false) and indent-output are described; an enum with a @JsonValue renders by name. - No statement names a release that removes the legacy path. Tests: a registerer with an explicit negative priority, the validation errors marshaller over a module serializer for Errors, a Throwable, a record with Jackson annotations, JSON.use('deep') with domain classes, a composite key, and GString and StreamCharBuffer escaping through JSONWriter.
