@matrei @jdaugherty One more change on d487d2768e..dad90c0a7c, after #16414 merged: the Grails mapper that `respond` uses no longer has its own domain serializer. It registers #16414's `DomainClassJacksonModule`, which gained the per-response `includes`/`excludes` and the `circular.reference.behaviour` handling. A domain class response now honours `@JsonIgnore`, write-only properties and the naming strategy, writes the reference key as `id`, and honours `default.deep`.
