Two more changes, folded into the same commit (now 86e2ae7c28): - Build-only pushes were skipping `publishForge`, `verifyWrapper` and `docs`. Their own needs succeeded, but the implicit `success()` check also covers the skipped test jobs further upstream. This predates the PR (every `[skip tests]` push since at least October 2025 shows it), but under the policy it would have hit every 7.x push. Those jobs now check the results of their needs explicitly, as `publish` already did, and run on `!cancelled()`. - On point 5 the answer is now broader: the CI and Groovy joint workflows cancel the run in flight on a new commit to a branch as well as to a pull request, since its tests are for a superseded commit and the replacing run publishes the newer one. A cancelled run never publishes, because the publish-side jobs test `!cancelled()` rather than `always()`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
