Correction to my comment above: 25a4633b5f puts the `@ResponseBody` part behind `grails.controllers.responseBody`, default `false` in Grails 9 and `true` in Grails 10, as `grails.exceptionresolver.springHandlers` does for exception handlers, so a Grails 9 action annotated `@ResponseBody` or `@RestController` still renders its view by default. A returned `ResponseEntity`, `ProblemDetail` and the other values Spring MVC writes whatever a handler method is annotated with, which Grails 8 did not write, are written whatever the setting says.
