I have verified the current 8.0.x criterion handler still translates / through ; for an association, this appears to query a node property rather than relationship existence. Your report includes a concrete reproduction, and the related TCK work in #16583 leaves Neo4j unrun. Before I prepare an AI-assisted patch, could a project maintainer confirm that this issue is accepted/approved for contribution under the repository's AI contribution policy? If approved, my proposed scope is a focused Neo4j criterion translation fix with public-API regression coverage, without changing the public API.
