Head commit for run: 8fb4cad2822996e0a74fdcd3e0afc0c36b390237 / Scott Murphy Heiberg <[email protected]> Skip a map in brackets only when no flat key below it disagrees The walk skipped a map whose bracketed key exported it, checking only the flat key under the map's own dotted name. After merge(['a.b.c': 'old'], true) and merge(['a[b].c': 'new'], true), the nested map a.b and its flat key both hold c: 'new', so both were skipped, and the flat key a.b.c, which the first merge wrote and the second left on 'old', was the only name exporting c: a.b.c=old, where 7.0.x exported a.b.c=new. A map entry, nested or a flat key of the walked map, is now skipped only when no flat key under the dotted name of a value below it holds another value either. Otherwise the map is exported under its dotted names as well, and the value written last is the one exported, 'new' here, as on 7.0.x.
