I'd like to fix this. The current guides still don't mention it: a domain class that extends an abstract class from `src/main/groovy` only tracks changes to the inherited properties if that class is annotated `@DirtyCheck` (`DirtyCheckingTransformer` only instruments setters declared in the class itself unless the parent is a domain class or carries `@DirtyCheck`; `DirtyCheckTransformationSpec` covers the pattern). The GORM 6.1 upgrade note that explained it (673e31924e) is no longer in the docs. I'll add a short subsection with an example to the dirty-checking pages of the Hibernate 5, Hibernate 7 and MongoDB guides. Would you like that as one PR on 8.0.x, or 7.2.x for Hibernate 5 and MongoDB plus the Hibernate 7 page on 8.0.x? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
