Head commit for run: 62ed0fdc1ed54bb4c92416e4716cc7c20f8762ee / James Daugherty <[email protected]> Install JDK 8 explicitly in CI and resolve the Gradle JVM before the test project exists The 263.0.1 release build failed on the ubuntu-26.04 runner image, which no longer ships Temurin 8: GradleGrailsImportingTest[Gradle-4.6, Grails-3.3.1] could not resolve a Gradle JVM, and because the resolver throws inside setUpInWriteAction() the platform tore the fixture down from under the write action, closeProject() refused, and the leaked project made GspResourceTagTest.testMove/testMove2 fail with "Trying to get PSI for a file that is not included in the project model". The Build & Test and release jobs now run setup-java for JDK 8 and symlink it into /usr/lib/jvm, where the IDE's JavaHomeFinder looks. GradleImportingTestCase.setUpFixtures() resolves the Gradle JVM before the project fixture exists, so a missing JDK fails only the import test; GradleImportingTestCaseJdkResolutionTest pins that.
