Grails is trying a slightly different approach to dependency caching:
[https://github.com/apache/grails-core/pull/15935]
This ticket is to try the same approach on Groovy. This doesn't change any
Groovy code - just impacts having the Gradle cache populated for different
runs. If we notice any problems, I'll back out the change.
