It will not be re-populated into the cache. I think this is reasonable too—under normal circumstances, an alert triggered once won't continue sending notifications if it hasn't recovered or triggered the threshold alert again. For instance: if the alert fails to recover automatically, data collection is disabled, or the alert status becomes "stuck," sending notifications every `repeat_interval` seems pointless.
