Rony G. Flatscher commented on BSF-24:
--------------------------------------
O.K. I will be doing some changes on BSF 2.x (i.e. incorporating RFEs from my
private copy of BSF 2.x), before it going to the attic. There are some
installations (and language bindings) that are based on BSF 2.x. (If there is
broader interest I would also contemplate to create a simple bridgge between
BSF 2 and BSF 3, such that BSF 2 engines can be deployed via BSF 3.)
If removing log4j.properties from the BSF 2 jar can be considered to not cause
any harm, then that would be possible, of course.
---
Of course, if you have the choice then go with BSF 3.x..
