Completely agree on keeping transaction usage targeted to low-frequency,
high-consistency metadata operations (such as ACL updates) rather than
high-throughput message ingestion pipelines, especially keeping connection pool
pressure and distributed PostgreSQL engines (like YugabyteDB) in mind.
The `executeTransaction` helper is provided here as a foundational
utility without forcing transactions onto hot message paths.
Let me know if you would like any adjustments to this PR before merging!
It is completely additive with 100% backward compatibility preserved —
existing callers and execution methods remain entirely untouched, simply adding
an optional transactional capability where needed.
