I tried switching the EmptyPaginatedCollectionOnNotFoundOr404 to generic but had issues using the class in the annotation then. The wildcard ? didn't seem to work as a fix. I haven't tried the evil fix yet, but would prefer to avoid it (for now). I will have another look at switching the fallback to a generic today.
