So I just discovered 
http://aws-assets-pricing-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/pricing/ec2/linux-od.js today - 
turns out that EC2 does in fact expose instance types! So I feel like we should 
be hitting that, instead of the hardcoded hell we're in right now.
