[~mgpotter] Fixes for this issue lay the groundwork for a portable
{{ParallelMultipartUploadStrategy}}. I still have some more fixes to the
slicer and additional provider support before I look at parallel uploads.
Would you like to look into this? It should be relatively straightforward to
implement and let's continue discussion in JCLOUDS-227.
