----------------------------------
Hi Andrew,
My name is Thejdeep. I am interested in working on this project. I am looking

writing code for jClouds :)
> object versioning in portable abstraction
> -----------------------------------------
>
> Key: JCLOUDS-895
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCLOUDS-895
> Project: jclouds
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: jclouds-blobstore
> Affects Versions: 1.9.0
> Reporter: Andrew Gaul
> Labels: gsoc2017
>
> Most of the major blobstores support object versioning:
> * Atmos: not supported
> * Amazon Glacier: not supported
> * Amazon S3:
> * Azure: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/hh488361.aspx
> * Google Cloud Storage:
> * OpenStack Swift:
> jclouds could expose this functionality in the portable abstraction. We
> would need to add provider support in several cases.
