Why `immutable.HashMap` instead of `mutable.HashMap` is used here?
BTW, Scala 2.13 changed the alias of `HashMap` from `mutable.HashMap` to
`immutable.HashMap`, to make the code clear, please write `new
immutable.HashMap` or `new mutable.HashMap` inline
