Error Prone `2.43.0` and later are compiled for JDK 21 (class file version 65), so the compiler plugin fails to load with `UnsupportedClassVersionError` on JDK 17. Downstream projects such as Log4j 2 enforce a JDK 17 build, which makes every `logging-parent` release after `12.1.1` unusable for them: #474 bumped Error Prone to `2.49.0` and #519 to `2.50.0`. - Pins `error-prone.version` to `2.42.0`, the last release compiled for JDK 17, and documents why in the POM. - Adds a Dependabot `ignore` rule for `com.google.errorprone:error_prone_core` `[2.43,)`, so the version is not bumped again. - Updates the changelog entry from #519 to the new version.
