Ha - I may have located the way it is remembered - in my userdir, grepping
for the string _mastfrog_ I find
`config/Preferences/org/netbeans/modules/maven/externalOwners.properties`
with entries like
```
2:com.mastfrog\:abstractions\:2.8.2=file:/Users/timb/work/personal/mastfrog-parent/util/abstractions/
3:com.mastfrog\:annotation-processors\:2.8.2=file:/Users/timb/work/personal/mastfrog-parent/util/annotation-processors/
4:com.mastfrog\:bits\:2.8.2=file:/Users/timb/work/personal/mastfrog-parent/util/bits/
