### Apache NetBeans version Apache NetBeans 24 ### What happened When I tried to install [Apache-NetBeans-24.pkg](https://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.lua/netbeans/netbeans-installers/24/Apache-NetBeans-24.pkg) ([SHA-512](https://downloads.apache.org/netbeans/netbeans-installers/24/Apache-NetBeans-24.pkg.sha512), [PGP ASC](https://downloads.apache.org/netbeans/netbeans-installers/24/Apache-NetBeans-24.pkg.asc)) from the Download link on netbeans.apache.org, it didn't appear to install. When I had to revert to the prior version due to another bug, I found that it overwrote that version but didn't rename it. I keep an old version so I can go back to it, and rename the app with the version number. When I tried to open Apache NetBeans 19 today, I got 24. Not cool, especially since 24 isn't working for what I'm doing. I'm assuming that the installer read my config files and just overwrote the location of the app that last updated the config files. Neat trick, but now I'm stuck in a location that I can't download an older version and NetBeans isn't working. ### Language / Project Type / NetBeans Component Mac .pkg installer ### How to reproduce Install version 24 from .pkg on netbeans.apache.org. Try to run older version. New version runs. ### Did this work correctly in an earlier version? No / Don't know ### Operating System macOS 15.2 on Apple M1 Pro ### JDK the one that version 24 came with ### Apache NetBeans packaging Apache NetBeans provided installer ### Anything else Every time I open my version 19 app I get 24. ### Are you willing to submit a pull request?
