The community installers will always ship with the latest available JDK. That is also, in most cases, the recommended JDK to run NetBeans. For some reason the original change was reverted in JDK 21, but at the moment doesn't seem to have a solution in JDK 24? Unless adding `-J-Djava.awt.headless=false` to the launch options helps?
