You can find the paths to the userdir and cachedir in the About dialog (usually in Help menu, but in the top left application menu on macOS IIRC). Or at the top of the log, from View / IDE Log. If you want to try this, close the IDE, and rename both of those dirs as a backup. Then try starting the IDE again. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
