This issue is more-or-less done. Gradle is now fully operational with most
issues resolved correctly and implemented both locally and in buildbot. almost
all libraries are gone except for cmssite and ebaystore, and we are reaching a
level of maturity in the code base around Gradle.
So I am going to close this issue soon unless you want to keep it open for any
reason.
