Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-11140:
-----------------------------------------

Hi Mathieu,

Seems that most teams use resolved to allow a QA member to validate and close
the issue: https://www.google.com/search?q=jira+resolved+vs+closed&ie=UTF-8

In OFBiz we have no official QA members. So resolved is unused. We simply skip
it and get to closed directly. We can always reopen if necessary anyway.

If we all agree, we could (Jira admins for OFBiz, I'm one) remove this state
and related transitions:

> There are some methods in UtilMisc/Object that are not used or have
> equivalent in Java standard library. We should remove that clutter.
