Hi Wang,
It's interesting, and sounds right to me since you can't have an application
(being part of applications or plugins) working apart of the framework. I'd
prefer though that you start a discussion in dev ML in case someone would
object. Without feedback I'd commit your patch in a week after the start of the
discussion, TIA
