I closed #364 with this comment. I've done a small bit of reading about this and am still not an expert but the docs in 5.0 still recommend SizeTieredCompactionStrategy and make no mention of the Unified Compaction Strategy. There is a class of that name but I think that might be an internal implementation class as opposed to something that can be specified as a compaction stategy in CQL. https://cassandra.apache.org/doc/5.0/cassandra/developing/cql/indexing/sai/operations/configuring.html#compaction-strategies I am happy if someone corrects my understanding.
