* we working on 2.0 - so it is possible to break compatibility there (main branch) * it's better to make a 'breaking' change if it only affects edge cases like timeouts than in the general happy path flow * if you want to tinker with a proposal, we will review it and we can decide if the change is ok as is or if we might want to make it configurable (for instance, to get users to opt in to the new behaviour - at least initially). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
