Review Comment:
   Let me explain my point. I don't believe `job.shutdown();` needs to wait for 
a specific amount of time, such as `1` second. As long as `captured` is `true`, 
the changes in the current PR are valid.
   
   From this perspective, there's no need to use 
`Awaitility.await().pollDelay()` to simulate the behavior of `Thread#sleep`. In 
this case, 
`Awaitility.await().atMost(Duration.ofSeconds(5L)).ignoreExceptions().until(() 
-> captured.get());` is sufficient, or perhaps a longer timeout than `5` 
seconds is sufficient.
