Ahh, it's actually not a bug! Sequential schemes are "gradients" essentially. You want to be adding/editing a categorical color scheme, which should be under `EXTRA_CATEGORICAL_COLOR_SCHEMES` rather than `EXTRA_SEQUENTIAL_COLOR_SCHEMES`.
