I'm dealing with the same problem since 2 days. 4.1.2 or 5.0.0.rc releases don't have the `superset_app_root` changes. I finally built superset from master branch and ran it. The app root change works for `/superset` but when I try to add data source, which is hosted under `/databaseview` prefix, it fails. Seems like the app root change is not applied to this subpath.
