Superset uses the same password hashing method as
werkzeug.security.generate_password_hash—specifically, it relies on Flask
AppBuilder and Flask-Security, which use Werkzeug's default algorithm
('pbkdf2:sha256') for hashing passwords when creating new users. Superset does
not implement its own password hashing logic; it inherits this behavior
directly from the underlying libraries.
