The issue is tracked and discussed in several places, including [#34030](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/34030), [#33757](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/33757), and [#33552](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/33552). Issue [#33552](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/33552) also has a bounty program to encourage contributions, but no PR is linked or in progress yet.
