Is there an existing issue for this? ❌ No, I did not find any existing issue related to this. What happened? On the Superset landing page, the video has start/stop buttons that appear on hover, similar to YouTube. Currently, users need to manually play the video when they visit the page, and stop it when they leave. Proposed Improvement / Feature Request: - ✅ Video should **autoplay** when the page is loaded. - ✅ Video should **stop automatically** when the user scrolls away from the video section and resume from where it left off when the user scrolls back. - ✅ Instead of the start/stop buttons appearing on hover, there should only be a **mute/unmute button**, and on hover the video container could **scale up slightly** for a nice visual effect. **Why is this useful?** - ✅ Improves user experience by reducing manual actions. - ✅ Makes the landing page feel more interactive and modern. - ✅ Keeps the video accessible without cluttering the interface with multiple buttons. **Additional Context / Notes:** - ✅ This is a **UX/feature improvement**, not a bug. - ✅ This is my **first contribution** to the project. <img width="1920" height="1020" alt="Screenshot 2025-12-25 144533" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/8f20a783-b212-489e-baaa-e659db04272e"; /> agree to follow this project’s Code of Conduct ✅ GitHub link: https://github.com/apache/superset/discussions/36835 ---- This is an automatically sent email for [email protected].
