Add a configuration option in the chart settings where users can map node types or names to specific images (svg etc.). For example, you could have a field in your dataset (like "node_type" or "node_category") and then, in the chart UI, select which image should represent each type/category - either from a built-in image set or by uploading your own images. For example, if the node represents a car, then the image should not be a circle but a car.
