You don't need to schedule reports a minute into the future anymore—recent
versions of Superset (from around September 2025) added a "Trigger Now" button
to the Alerts & Reports CRUD list. This lets you manually execute a scheduled
report instantly for testing or troubleshooting. The feature also exposes a
REST API endpoint at `/api/v1/report/{id}/execute` if you want to trigger
reports programmatically, with proper role-based access control. If you're on
an older version, scheduling reports in the near future is still the main
workaround. For more details, see the [feature pull
