   I'm not sure if this will help, but adding an SQL expression directly from 
the chart editor works with ClickHouse. I'm no expert on both Python and 
Superset code, but I think this issue occurs when calculated columns are 
injected into the final query (the expression is missing). It may be a 
templating issue or something similar.
   If someone could point out where this happens in the code, I'll try to take 
a look.
