GitHub user SupersetOdT edited a discussion: Population pyramids not natively
offered in Superset

Hello,

Among the open source projects, Superset natively offers the most extensive
panel of graphical visualizations for demographic and territorial analysis in
my opinion.

However, I regret that no chart of "population pyramids" is natively offered in
Superset (at least until version 6.0.0).

 />

I am unable to develop this type of chart in Superset, but maybe the "[Bar
Chart with Negative
Value](https://echarts.apache.org/examples/en/editor.html?c=bar-negative)" can
provide a good basis for a developer to propose an "age-sex pyramid" in
Superset?

It is in any case by following this model of negative values that I am
currently creating "population pyramids" in Libre Office Calc / Only Office
Spreadsheet / MS Office Excel / MS Power BI...

I thank once again the entire team of developers for this wonderful open source
project !
