Thanks for the clarification — that’s really helpful. I originally focused on the “no data” visual state because that was the easiest way for me to reproduce the issue, but it makes sense that the root cause may be related to hover state reset behavior more generally rather than the data state itself. Given that this appears to be Chrome-specific (recent versions only), I’ll investigate whether this is related to changes in pointer / mouse event handling or SVG behavior in Chromium, and verify whether the current implementation relies on behavior that may no longer be consistent across browsers.
